Loads that need more than an ADR badge

Loads that need more than an ADR badge

Some chemicals are classed as high consequence dangerous goods, because they could cause serious harm if they were stolen or misused. Class 6.1 toxic substances in packing group I are on that list once a load goes over the small-load threshold, and some corrosives and flammable liquids join it when they're carried in tanks.

Anyone carrying them needs a written transport security plan, covering who's responsible, how the route and stops are managed, how the vehicle is protected and how incidents are reported. The Department for Transport inspects carriers against those rules, and we've been inspected.

If a courier can't show you their security plan, they shouldn't be carrying your packing group I toxics.

Checked against the ADR security rules, so we can carry packing group I toxics.

Before you book any courier, ask to see

Who we move chemicals for

Six kinds of customer. The same checks on every load.
