Every class, not just chemicals

Every class we carry, from a single box to a full van

Chemicals might be what Halton is known for, but they're far from all we carry. We move every class of dangerous goods except radioactive, from a single box to a full van, so lab samples, lithium batteries, gas cylinders and aerosols are all part of the job here too. The loads we're asked for most in Runcorn and Widnes are:

CLASS 1 Explosives Flares, cartridges, perforating charges
CLASS 2 Gases Cylinders, aerosols, refrigerant gases
CLASS 3 Flammable liquids Paints, solvents, fuels, adhesives
CLASS 4 Flammable solids Metal powders, self-reactive substances
CLASS 5 Oxidisers and peroxides Hydrogen peroxide, nitrates
CLASS 6 Toxic and infectious Reagents, pesticides, clinical samples CLASS 8 Corrosives Acids, alkalis, industrial cleaners CLASS 9 Miscellaneous Lithium batteries, dry ice
Not sure which class? Send us the safety data sheet and we'll work it out with you before we quote. Send us the SDS
High consequence dangerous goods

High consequence loads

Some of the toxic substances made and used around here are classed as high consequence dangerous goods, which means the carrier needs a written security plan to move them. Ours has been inspected by the Department for Transport, so if your current courier can't show you theirs, it's worth giving us a ring.

30 minutes from Halton

Getting here

We're around 30 minutes from Halton along the M57 and M62, with no tunnels to worry about on the way. We use the Mersey Gateway a lot too, because it's the route we take whenever a load can't go through the tunnels to the Wirral.
