We're in London and the South East regularly, and we collect from across the city and out to the M25. Most of our London work comes from:
London and the South East, regularly
OUT TO THE M25 AND BEYOND
Around London that's often lithium batteries for e-bike, scooter and energy storage firms, UPS batteries out of the data centres, aerosols, paints and adhesives from the Park Royal distributors, pyrotechnics for events and stage shows, and reagents and dry ice from the labs. If it's dangerous goods and it's moving between London and the North West, we can take it.
A freight forwarder has a pallet of lithium-ion batteries (UN3480) landing at Heathrow. We plan the route around London's tunnel restrictions and bring it straight up the M6 on one vehicle.
We've delivered in Kent that morning, so a pallet of Class 8 corrosives for a plant in Runcorn comes back up with us the same afternoon, the only load on the van.
Purple B was founded by David Hughes after more than 24 years in British Army logistics, transport and operational planning. The planning, the paperwork and the accountability came with him.
About four and a half hours on the road, with the same driver the whole way. We'll give you a delivery time when we confirm the job.
Most of London's restricted tunnels are Category E, so almost all dangerous goods are banned from Blackwall, Rotherhithe, Silvertown, Limehouse and East India Dock Road. The Heathrow tunnel is Category E from 4am to 11pm, and Dartford is Category C. We plan around them from your dangerous goods note, so the time we quote already allows for it.
Often, yes. We're in London and the South East regularly and frequently heading back up the M6 with space in the van. For loads going to the North West, Cheshire or North Wales, ask when you book.
Both. We're often best placed for loads heading north, because we're usually going that way anyway.
Yes. Send us the collection details and the dangerous goods note, and we'll plan the route around the tunnel restrictions.
Yes, anywhere on the UK mainland, on the same basis: one vehicle, one driver, no depots.
Ask about a return leg. Price confirmed before we collect.
